Victoria’s life and career in finance began at a time when few women were making their mark on Wall Street. After earning degrees from the University of Maryland and Cornell University, she moved to Manhattan in the 1980s and entered a highly selective internship program at Lehman Brothers. Out of more than 100 candidates, she was one of the few women selected — setting the tone for a career defined by grit, intelligence, and determination.
Over the next 18 years, she rose through the ranks to become Principal Managing Director at Bear Stearns, where she built a reputation as a powerful presence in the industry and a trusted resource to high-net-worth individuals and families.
Her work has spanned IRA and ERISA plan management, investment consulting, and long-term strategic planning. Her style is both disciplined and deeply personal — rooted in a rigorous work ethic, loyalty to her clients, and an ability to anticipate and navigate market cycles.
After the 2008 financial crisis, Victoria continued her work at boutique firms and Morgan Stanley before co-founding Marché Wealth in 2012 with John Halasz. The two built the firm on shared values of integrity, individualized service, and long-term commitment. They worked side-by-side for over a decade until John’s ALS diagnosis required him to step away. In 2024, he passed away, leaving a profound legacy.
Today, Victoria carries that legacy forward — leading Marché with her daughter, Lauren, and Benjamin Fields. Together, they remain committed to guiding clients through life’s financial chapters with clarity, purpose, and unwavering care.
